Stew Sticks are manufactured through a cold extrusion process, which cooks these treats slowly at a lower temperature. This method helps retain a higher nutritional quality. If you are going to give your dog a treat, why not make it a treat that helps maintain a healthy body?
Feeding Instructions:
- Stew Sticks may be fed as a snack between meals or as a reward during training.

Ingredient Descriptions
- Protein: Meat (Beef or Chicken) is the primary ingredient in Stew Sticks. Protein provides the amino acids that help build and heal tissue, blood and bone.
- Cabbage and Horseradish: Cabbage and horseradish contain high amounts of glutathione Peroxidase, a powerful enzyme that plays a significant role in scavenging the body for free radicals. These vegetables also provide the fiber required for a healthy digestive system.
- Brown Rice: Non-milled ground brown rice provide necessary minerals, vitamins, anti-oxidants and fiber. Foods rich in fiber are digested slowly maintaining energy levels between meals. Brown Rice is also high in IP6.
- L-Cysteine and L-Methionine: These two amino acids increase the benefits of Glutathione Peroxidase, a powerful enzyme that plays a signification role scavenging the body for free radicals. Evidence shows that levels of these two essential compounds actually decrease in mammals as they age.
- Carotenes: Powerful anti-oxidants with properties that may contribute to reducing the incidence of diseases such as cancer and heart disease.
- Selenium: Selenium's role includes activation of enzymes which play key roles in cell preservation. Low selenium levels have been linked to premature aging in mammals.
- Oat Flour & Spelt Flour: Oat flour and Spelt Flour are utilized as binding agents. They also provide a good source of protein, fiber, dietary minerals and vitamins.
- Chicory Molasses (Chicory Syrup & Molasses) & Cane Molasses: Chicory Molasses is used as a humectant to keep our treats moist, pliable and supple. Chicory Molasses is a source of vitamins and minerals.
