We Take “Natural” Seriously!

AAFCO, the Association of American Feed Control Officials, Inc., develops and implements laws, regulations, standards and enforcement policies for regulating the manufacture, distribution and sales of animal feeds, including pet food.

AAFCO’s official definition for “natural”, as the term relates to pet food:

“Natural... A feed or ingredient derived solely from plant, animal or mined sources, either in its unprocessed state or having been subjected to physical processing, heat processing, rendering, purification extraction, hydrolysis, enzymolysis or fermentation, but not having been produced by or subject to a chemically synthetic process and not containing any additives or processing aids that are chemically synthetic except in amounts as might occur unavoidably in good manufacturing practices”.

At Mulligan Stew Pet Food, we pride ourselves in providing a simple, nutritious and balanced diet that supports the good health of your pet. We take the word “Natural” seriously when we manufacture our product. We use only natural sources of protein, fresh vegetables and whole grains. We never use animal fats, artificial colors, artificial flavors, or added preservatives in foods. We are proud to use Wind Powered energy to manufacture our Premium Baked Kibble products. The steel cans we use are fully recyclable. We utilize bio-degradable peanuts and recyclable corrugate boxes for our shipping. We have also “Right-Sized” our packaging to utilize as few materials as possible.
